The newly constructed Southside Shopping Mall is a stunning example of modern design, where architecture blends harmoniously with nature. Working closely with the project’s contractor, SPL Lighting was responsible for illuminating the 510,000 square foot space. The design of the mall, inspired by the natural beauty of Island South, required a lighting approach that would complement the fluid, organic shapes and calm tones reflective of the coastal landscape.
SPL Lighting achieved this by highlighting the mall’s gentle curves and wave-like elements, using a soothing beige palette to enhance the overall ambiance. The result is a refined, welcoming space where light and design come together to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
